Accounts Assistant
About The Job
Excellent contract opportunity with a leading retail group at their Head Office in Egham Surrey. Working within a busy friendly finance the main purpose of the role is to:
To produce regular and accurate financial information to your Bookkeeper for reporting output to stores and senior management
Provide continuous support for retail stores
Key responsibilities: Areas of responsibility will supplier invoices and statements, sales figures and highlighting areas of concern
Specific tasks:
- Checking and uploading of Sales Reconciliations
- Processing of internal sales/purchase invoices
- Processing manual PDQ slips and sending to Lloyds
- Processing Expenses
- Uploading supplier invoices
- Checking invoices for certain nominal codes have been extracted from general filing
- Quarterly purchase invoice archiving
- Resolving supplier queries
- Adhoc projects from your Bookkeeper
The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year’s accounts experience, be confident and a strong communicator with non-finance and work with initiative. The culture is supportive and you will quickly feel one of the team.
